Creating this learning line has been an interesting experience. It has allowed me to reflect on the positive and negative events that have influenced my life and brought me to where I am now. Most of my memories are positive ones but there are a few things that I regret. My greatest regret is that I did not get the degree that I know I am easily capable of. On the other hand, if I had my degree then I would probably never have met my wife. I have included a few personal things (in green) on my learning line to balance out my time at KLM Engineering where in terms of my career and academic development I almost stagnated for ten years. During that time, great things happened in my personal life, that have allowed me to be in a position to come back to education, to amend the regrets of the past and find a career that will challenge and excite me. I look forward to the next few years with great anticipation. Balancing a full time job, my family life and an HNC in Engineering (as well as a couple of GCSEs) will be hard, but ultimately worth every second.
